All scholls have different requirements for standardized testing. The University of the Pacific requires you to take either the SAT or the ACT to be able to submit an application for admissions. University of the Pacific has alos gone into a test-optional mode, meaning that you can provide a test score if you wish to. However, for international students, the TOEFL, IELTS or the Duolingo English test is needed. However, the SAT score comes handy here. If you have an SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing score of 570, you can do away with the IELTS, TOEFL or the Duolingo test.

In order to secure an admission in the University of the Pacific, all international students (including Indian students) should take the TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo English test. However, this requirement can be waived off under the circumstances listed below:
- SAT Evidence-based Reading and Writing score of 570; OR
- ACT Composite score of 22 or above.
Apart from this, Indian students also need to complete the online application, present their academic results, SOP, Letter of recommendation, copy of passport, resume, TOEFL score, certified copy of academic transcripts, passport size photographs. Lastly, applicants must go through the requirem

Yes, The University of Pacific accepts Indian students. The university opens its doors for international students from all over the world. It offers Under-graduate, Graduate level and Dual-degree programs. It allows you to choose from over a 100 majors & minors & is one of the most scenic campuses in the US.

With an acceptance rate of 79%, admissions are much more selective at University of the Pacific. About half the applicants who get admission in the University have scores in the range of 1120 and 1380. Atudent GPA plays an important role along with the applican's letters of recommendation

For admission into the University of the Pacific, you need to consider your GPA, test scores like the SAT & ACT, and the application process requirements. According to a source, you need a GPA of 3.52 to take admission at the University of the Pacific.The GPA is considered as a critical factor by the officials during admission. Apart from this, you will also be required to look at your SAT & ACT scores. An SAT score of 1210 or above will increase your chances of admission, as per various online sources. The acceptance rate at UOP is around 79% (US News & World report).

The University of the Pacific is not an Ivy League school. It does not come as a surprise that it is confused as one. It is one of the most well-known schools in the West & buildings of the campus are covered in Ivy. The Gothic architecture of buildings are very similar to the Ivy League schools on the East coast.
