Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) Admission Process

PDEU has been ranked 151-200 in the University ranking and 101-150 in the Engineering category by NIRF ranking 2023. The university has 4 schools, located on the same campus which are the School of Energy Technology, School of Technology, School of Management, and the School of Liberal Studies.

The university has not specifically released the minimum marks required for admission at PDEU for Petroleum Engineering. Students can check the admission criteria from the points mentioned below:

Government Seats (33%)- For the purpose of admission on Gujarat Seats, a candidate has to apply at ACPC as per
ACPC norms.

All India Seats (67%) -A candidate seeking admission on All India Seats shall apply on-line, on the University
website, within the prescribed time limit.

A total of 1,560 seats are available for BTech at Pandit Deendayal Energy University. For the purpose of admission, the seats shall be reserved for the candidates of All India seats under the following categories:

A candidate should have passed the Qualifying Examination with minimum 45% marks (40% in case of SC / ST) in aggregate in theory and practical of Physics & Maths (with Chemistry or Vocational Subject as per the guidelines of ACPC) from single board.

PDEU (School of Liberal Studies) offers a regular BCom (Hons) course in four specialisations such as BCom (Hons) in Finance and Accounts, BFSI & FinTech, Marketing & Management and Entrepreneurship & International Trade. The course is of a four-year duration and is offered in a full-time mode. 

The BCom courses are offered in three streams which is Accounting and Commerce, Banking, Finance and Insurance and Business and Management Studies. The course is of a four-year duration and is offered in a full-time mode. The course is offered by SLS, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU).
