The 2024 placement session of PDEU (formerly known as PDPU) concluded with 90% of the BTech students placed. Over 175 companies participated in the recruitment process and more than 550 BTech students got offers. The highest package stood at INR 42 LPA and the PDPU average package offered was INR 7.50 LPA. Google, Amazon, and ITC Limited were some of the prominent companies that participated in Pandit Deendayal Energy University placements 2024. PDEU has been ranked 151-200 in the University ranking and 101-150 in the Engineering category by NIRF ranking 2023. The university has 4 schools, located on the same campus which are the School of Energy Technology, School of Technology, School of Management, and the School of Liberal Studies.

The university has not specifically released the minimum marks required for admission at PDEU for Petroleum Engineering. Students can check the admission criteria from the points mentioned below:

Government Seats (33%)- For the purpose of admission on Gujarat Seats, a candidate has to apply at ACPC as per
ACPC norms.

All India Seats (67%) -A candidate seeking admission on All India Seats shall apply on-line, on the University
website, within the prescribed time limit.

The course is of a four-year duration and is offered in a full-time mode. The course is offered by SLS, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU). Yes, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) offer merit scholarhsip to BCom (Hons) students. A total of 20 merit sholarship will be awareded to the students.  The half tuition fees waiver for students. However, the eligibility criteria is based on SLS admission test merit rank and subject to minimum 80% marks obtained in Class 12 marks.
