The major concerns about the PAU admissions is the seat intake and the fee. The university has recently increased the seat intake for many courses but still the competition for the available seats is too high. The other concerns include fee. For some courses, the fee can be high. For that, the university provides scholarships to students.

The total tuition fee for the M.Tech course at Kerala Agricultural University is INR 61,400, and the tuition fee for PAU M.Tech courses is INR 76,900. Thus, the tuition fee for KAU M.Tech courses is more affordable than PAU M.Tech courses. The tuition fee is one of the factors to be considered for comparison. There are several other options for which a candidate can compare two university courses, such as placement packages, seats, affiliation, etc. The fee amount mentioned is sourced from the official website/sanctioning body and is subject to change. Therefore, it is indicative.

Prospective students must meet the definite application deadlines set by Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) for M.Sc. Food and Nutrition admission. Late applications to the university through their additional fee period are considered at the discretion of staff and subject to remaining seat vacancies. The university recommends potential students to submit their applications within the specified deadline as it affects their admission consideration.

SC category candidates who achieve 186th position in the PAU CET examination have possible admission opportunities at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU). During 2020 the admission cutoff for B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering through the SC category reached 1397.
The annual adjustment of cutoff ranks depends on both the participating candidate numbers and available seats. Your position among ranking candidates of the previous cutoff group does not ensure your admission. Students should join the counseling process to review other admission possibilities along with their main choice.
