Altera Institute Gurugram admission criteria is entrance-based. Candidates are admitted to the PGP course based on CAT/GMAT/XAT/NMAT scores. Aspirants without a score in any of these exams can take the Altera National Aptitude Test (ALNAT). Apart from this, aspirant must hold a valid UG degree passed with at least 50% aggregate. The application form can be submitted online. Selected candidates can pay admission fee amount for seat confirmation.

ALNAT exam 2024 was conducted on Apr 28, 2024. Hence, the 2025 exam can be expected to be conducted in the Apr month in 2025 as well. Moreover, the exam was conducted in the computer-based test mode at different test centres. To appear for the exam, candidates had to visit the exam centre and take the exam online. Candidates are required to reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam to complete frisking formalities.

Yes, after the first intial 12 months, students meeting attendance and assessment criteria are offered a 3-month internship with one of Altera's hiring partners. Outstanding performance during the internship may also lead to a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) from the hiring company.

The Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) closing marks for PGP College of Engineering (PGPCE) in 2022 across some key engineering courses were as follows: 

Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE): 80.5 marks in the open category. 
Computer Science and Engineering (CSE): 94.0 marks. 

The cut-off will change from year to year due to the number of applicants and the number of seats available. To find out more accurate or current data, it is advisable to check verification sources or the TNEA website since cutoff ranks are subject to changes after every round of admission is introduced.
