Yes, it is available. Bachelor of Arts B.A. In Photography is a 3-year undergraduate course which covers everything under the sun when it comes to photography. B.A. In Photography Eligibility Criteria:
* Candidate must have completed 10+2 from a recognised board. * Candidate can be from any stream Science, Commerce or Arts. * Clearing an entrance exam as well as creative interaction rounds could be part of the admission process. * Most institutes conduct admissions on the basis of merit.

The course duration would be 6 months + 1 month of portfolio work. There are three sections in which the course is done:
Section 1 is fundamental concepts. (Compulsory).
Section 2 is specialization (Travel and Nature) (compulsory).
Section 3 is photo journalism and multimedia (optional).
The course fee is:
Section I (Compulsory) & Section II (Compulsory): INR 3, 00,000.
Section III (Optional):
Multi-Media: INR 25,000.
Photojournalism: INR 10,000.
GST as applicable will be payable on the fee. Refundable security deposit: INR 10,000/-
Payment schedule will be given along with offer of admission letter.

There is no particular text book or coaching classes for the B. M. entrance exam. So, there is nothing as such you have to specifically prepare for and the paper pattern, type of questions change from year to year. But here are a few things you can do and should keep in mind. Firstly, read the newspaper daily! Gather some general knowledge, be aware of the current affairs, reading magazines and periodicals might help too. Read everything possible. Take admission at NIMCJ where you learn the concept of mass communication and I guess photography is related to mass communication. As when a photographer clicks a photo, some sort of message they pass to the audience because a single picture tells a thousand story.
