Yes Physiotherapy is definitely worth pursuing in India but it needs patience and specialisation to get high pay.

It is growing fast as a respected medical career.

No one course is better than other. Both are important in a patient's life.

Physiotherapy focuses on pain reduction, strength and mobility but Occupational Therapy focuses on independence in daily activities like dressing, eating and working. 

Example: A PT helps a patient walk again after knee surgery. But an OT helps a stroke patient learn to feed or dress themselves again. 

At the end, it should be a candidate's decision made with keeping career goals and liking in their minds.

Candidates can get jobs in hospitals, sports teams, clinics and also corporate sectors.

Physiotherapy courses train students to help people regain movement and manage pain caused by injuries, illness or disability through exercises and physical tools.

Physiotherapy courses are available at UG, PG, Diploma and Certificate course levels.

To get a seat in the Universal Skilltech University BPT course, candidates need to appear for the NEET and secure an aggregate above its cutoff list. For the academic year 2026, the BPT admissions at Universal Skilltech University have a total of 60 seats available for allocation. The seats will be alloted to candidates who manage to clear the NEET with an approrpriate score while fulfilling the set eligibility criteria.
