Poornima University Eligibility

The eligibility requirements for admission to BTech courses at Poornima University is candidates must complete their Class 12 with 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC/ SBC) in Mathematics, Physics and, any one subject out of Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational Subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship.

Moreover, the selection process is merit-based; the university releases the merit on the basis of candidates' achieved scores in Class 12. The university also accepts JEE Mains scores for granting the scholarships. 

Candidates who have passed BCA/ BSc Computer Science/ BSc IT/ BE CSE/ BTech CSE/ BE IT/ BTech IT or equivalent degree or any graduation preferably with Mathematics at Class 12 level or at graduation level with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for reserved category) can apply for the Poornima University MCA course. Additionally, the selection for MCA course will be based on merit in the last qualifying exam. Additionally, MCA is a two-year course offered in four specialisations, namely General, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, Cyber Security, AI & ML with knowledge partner SAS through Faculty of Computer Science Engineering.

Candidates need to pass Class 12 in any stream with at least 70% aggregate to apply for Poornima University BBA (Hons) course. Aspirants who have passed Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ non-creamy layer OBC/ SBC/ Girls) are eligible to apply for the BBA course. Eligible candidates can apply for the course online on the official website of the university. Aspirants will need to pay an application fee of INR 1,500 for registration. For BBA, the university will shortlist the applications of the candidates based on their merit. However, an entrance exam will be conducted for admission to BBA (Hons) courses followed by an interview round.
