Yes, students who wish to take admission to Presidency College are required to take a written test. This test is conducted by the institute itself. In order to apply for the test, students can visit the official website of the institute. They are encouraged to apply before the last date to avoid missing out on the application process.

Candidates who have applied for the Presidency College MCom admission are invited to take a written test. The details related to the exam are disclosed closer to the exam date. In the meantime, students can study the subjects related to Commerce. Once the exam is done, students with good scores are further invited for the PI process.

For admission to Presidency College's MCom course, the admissions committee conducts an interview process. At the time of the interview, students are required to carry the following documents:
- Class 10 and 12 marksheets
- Migration Certificate in case of students who have passed any exams other than that of Bengaluru City University
- UG degree
- UG marksheets
- Transfer certificate
- Conduct certificate
- Address Proof (the latest Telephone Bill/Gas Connection Bill)
- Four passport-size photographs
