As you didn't add the programme about which you were looking for the information, it will be difficult to tell you about how hard it's to get into the university.

If you are looking for B Tech. The JEE ranks closed list year were between 10-13 lakhs

 

For other UG programmes you need 50 percent in 10+2 for backward classes it's 45percent

Direct admissions are genrally given to students apart from (JEE MAINS, 10+2) when there are some vacant seats remaining. You could always check for the vacant seats from the website of PIMR. Also in addition you can contact the institute directly

Talking about the Bhopal campus, if you want admission in it you have three ways.

  1. JEE MAINS examination
  2. 10+2 (the institute accepts students directly based on their percentage.)

You can also check their website if there are some direct admission quota for remaining vacant seats.

As your question doesn't mentions the Programme for which your asking information I would suggest, look for the qualifying exam it accepts. While genral admissions revolve around these exams only.

You can also get specific information about admissions from website of institute too.

While 100 percent can't be promised, it totally depends on your merit, the institute offers various scholarships, information of which you can access on the website of the institute. Scholarships like chhavi jain scholarship offers to class 12th maritious students.

 

Also there is some fee relaxation for backward category.

 

 

 

You can also check for scholarships from state and central scholarship portals.
