Hello, Nowadays, the art director is also termed as the creative director. So, it clearly understood by its name that one needs to be creative to be in this profession! It encompasses a diverse range of human activities, creations and ways of expression, including music, literature, film, sculpture and paintings.

An aspiring art director should come from a graphic design background, and should be respectful to all either younger and elder and should have the courage to accept his/her error and would be a team player with leadership quality.

Originality is almost a given factor with these folks. Intelligence and integrity, a must in terms of creating a believable work of art. Strangely enough, the operative word for 'Creative Director' is Director. This position requires a step back to look at the big picture. He/She assesses the work in terms of how it will affect the brand and the communication.
