Yes, you can appear for the UP PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) examination for Political Science with an MA in Public Administration as Public administration falls under the Social Science stream and is indeed related to Political Science. Officially, there are no such restrictions but to be sure please refer to the official announcement of the UP PGT exam or in this case the eligibility criteria on the commission’s webpage.
