Yes, GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is required for M.Tech admissions at VIT Pune - Vishwakarma Institute of Technology in many cases. Candidates should also have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field of Engineering and Technology from an institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Central/State Government, or equivalent.
