Candidates should score a minimum of 50% to enter into the Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM) Pune through the PIBM’s Aptitude Test (PMAT) if they have failed to secure better marks in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT etc. for PGDM programs. For admissions to MBA programs, candidates need to have at least 50% or above score in the above- mentioned national level entrance tests which will make them eligible to apply. This involves the assessment of education background, assessment of aptitude through various aptitude tests such as CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ PMAT etc., assessment of communication, knowledge and understanding levels through case study, group discussions and personal interview rounds. CAT is not a necessary requirement for Pune Institute of Business Management (PIBM) Pune. For admissions at PIBM, it is a must that candidates have undergone an education programme under a three-year or four-year graduation system with at least 50% or above aggregate marks in Class 10, 12 and Graduation courses. Besides this, candidates’ performance in aptitude tests such as CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT is evaluated. If a candidate has scored average marks in one of the above, they have to sit for the PMAT which is PIBM’s aptitude test.
