The Faculty of Architecture of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has lately gained prominence due to providing placements more efficiently within this part of the country, the state of Uttar Pradesh, among other good reputation benefits such networks and contacts with different professionals.

 However, this does not mean other institutions cannot create that such as the R.R. Group of Institutions for buildings when judging by the number of students placed, placement quality, and availability, it surely varies with several factors like programme and faculty expertise as well as the industry contacts.

The Faculty of Architecture in AKTU generally has better infrastructure and more industry tie-ups compared to those of newer or smaller buildings.

However, such an advantage is a bit larger for placement purposes of B.Arch and M.Arch students. Students are also provided with access to the placement cell of the university for all placements-related activities.

The record of placement in R.R. Group of Institutions in Lucknow is quite impressive.

The average salary package for the graduates ranging from around 3 to 5 Lacs per annum, while some students are lucky enough to find packages as high as 12 Lacs per annum. HCL technologies, Wipro, Bajaj, and Tata Motors are some of the prominent companies that come to the campus for recruitment. Every student is provided a placement facility from the beginning of the 6th semester and in some cases, students could apply for placements from the 3rd year.

The institution also provides these students with skills improvement, internships, and resume building for improving employability.

As per the university's official brochure in 2022-2023 session's placement drive the highest placement package offered was 12.5LPA INR.

And the average placement package offered was 4LPA INR.

RR Group of Institutions (RRGI) organizes three mega job fairs annually inviting around 150 national and multinational companies for placement drives across various courses including MBA.

During 2022-2023 session 113 students from MBA programme were placed with an average package of 4 Lacs INR per annum and the highest package reaching 12.5 Lacs INR per annum.
