RGPV Bhopal University is a well-know goverment university which is recognised by the UGC and is accredited with an 'A' grade by the NAAC. Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Bhopal is a multi-campus affiliating, research university that is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). There are 5 teaching institutions, 200 affiliated Engineering colleges, 95+ Pharmacy colleges, 90+ MCA colleges, and 4 Architecture colleges imparting various courses.

As of April 29, 2024, the Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) has declared the results for the first and third semesters of 2024, along with the back results. The university offers admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. As per the RGPV cutoff 2023, the Round 1 closing rank for BTech CSE stood closed at 122582 for the General All India category students.
