The total marks in the RBSE Class 12 exams are 600. RBSE Board 12 exams are held for a total of six subjects. Each paper of the exam consists of 100 marks. 80 marks are distributed for the theory paper. While 20 marks are reserved for practical/internal exams. On the other hand, in some papers, theory exams are held for a total of 70 marks while practical papers are held for a total of 30 marks. These subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Home Science, Psychology, etc.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Educationis announced the RBSE 12th exam date 2026 on December 19, 2025. According to the announced exam date, the board will hold the RBSE class 12 exams 2026 from February 12 to March 11, 2026. The board exams The RBSE 12th exams 2026 will be held in offline (pen and paper) mode in morning shift from 8:30 am to 11:45 am. Students will be allowed to report 30 minutes prior to the actual exam timing. Compartment exams for class 12 is expected to be held in July 2026. The board announced the detailed time table on its website.

As per the announced RBSE 12th exam date 2026, class 12 exams will be held from February 12 to March 11, 2026. Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer conducts RBSE 12th Board examination every year. Over 8 Lakh students appear for this examination every year. The board will soon announce actual data on the number of students appearing for the class 12 exams this year. In 2025, 8.93 Lakh students appeared for the class 12 exams across the three streams. Out of which, more than 98.43% of students have managed to clear of students managed to clear the exam. We will provide the official stats of RBSE class 12 result 2026, when provided officially.

The board has not confirmed that the RBSE board exams will be held twice. However, many boards have started holding the board exams twice a year as per the NEP suggestions. The main objective behind conducting the Board exams twice is to allow the students to retain the best score in the exam. Hence, it can be expected that the rbe exam will be conductd once a year.
