The total marks in the RBSE Class 12 exams are 600. RBSE Board 12 exams are held for a total of six subjects. Each paper of the exam consists of 100 marks. 80 marks are distributed for the theory paper. While 20 marks are reserved for practical/internal exams. On the other hand, in some papers, theory exams are held for a total of 70 marks while practical papers are held for a total of 30 marks. These subjects include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Home Science, Psychology, etc.

The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Educationis announced the RBSE 12th exam date 2026 on December 19, 2025. The board held the RBSE class 12 exams 2026 from February 12 to March 11, 2026. The board exams The RBSE 12th exams 2026 will be held in offline (pen and paper) mode in morning shift from 8:30 am to 11:45 am. Students will be allowed to report 30 minutes prior to the actual exam timing. Compartment exams for class 12 is expected to be held in July 2026. The board announced the detailed time table on its website.

Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer conducts RBSE 12th Board examination every year. Over 8 Lakh students appear for this examination every year. The board will soon announce actual data on the number of students appearing for the class 12 exams this year. In 2025, 8.93 Lakh students appeared for the class 12 exams across the three streams. The board had announced that the RBSE board exams will be held twice. The main objective behind conducting the Board exams twice is to allow the students to retain the best score in the exam. The second RBSE class 10 and 12 exams will be conductd in June/July.

Yes, Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University accepts RBSE for B.Tech. This university is very popular in Uttar Pradesh. It accepts CBSE 12th and RBSE 12th with a minimum of 45 percent.  The fees for B.tech course is 5 k - 3.5 LPA. There are various specialisation in B.Tech in Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University.

Securing good marks in RBSE 10th exam is never an easy task. However, if you are prepared well for the exam, you can certainly perform better in the exam. Once you think you have completed the exam syllabus, you should test your preparation. The best way to test your level of preparedness for the class 10th board exam is by solving sample papers. Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education is yet to announce the RBSE class 10 exam pattern 2024. It is expected to be announced soon. As per last year’s exam pattern, the board will conduct the RBSE class 10 Hindi and English exams for 80 marks, respectively. In the Hindi exam, a total of 50 questions including objective type, short answer type, and long answer type questions are asked. On the other hand, a total of 20 questions including MCQ, very short type, short type, and long type questions are asked in English paper.

The board releases the RBSE class 10 time table and syllabus separately on different dates. Firstly, the board prescribes the RBSE 10th syllabus and then the syllabus is released. Students can access the time table on the official website and the official Twitter handle of the state board. However, the syllabus can be downloaded only from the official website of the board.
