Admission to RV College of Architecture (RVCA) is merit and entrance exam score-based as well. For B.Arch, you need to qualify through KCET, COMEDK BArch, NATA, or JEE Paper-II. 50% in 10+2 at least for the general category. Admission to the M.Arch programme is through PGCET or GATE scores. RVCA offers admission in government, private, and management quotas. Don't forget that it is required to meet the eligibility criteria and get a good rank in the entrance tests.

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can apply for admission through the following modes:
- Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) for the government quota seats earmarked for Karnataka domicile candidates.
- COMED-K counselling for all India merit seats.
- Management quota
