Due mainly to entrance exam criteria such as KCET or COMEDK UGET for merit-based seats admittance to SEACET is somewhat tough. While less competitive professions like civil engineering may accept ranks as high as 100,000 prominent branches like computer Science may have high cutoffs for KCET frequently needing numbers below 50,000. The COMEDK cutoffs for top branches are also very strict. Although it is simpler to obtain management quota seats the fees might be as high as INR 10–15 Lacs over a four-year period. Early application and excellent academic standing increase chances particularly for seats that are limited.

As for 100% scholarships there isn't any concrete proof that SEACET provides complete tuition reimbursement. While some Indian engineering schools offer 100% scholarships to students who excel in state or admission exams SEACET's scholarship information focuses on government programs and partial cost reductions. According to the information provided a full fee waiver is improbable, but students from reserved categories or those with exceptional KCET/COMEDK ranks may obtain substantial aid
