NSO dates 2024 were released on April 5, 2024. The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) released the dates of the National Science Olympiad (NSO) exam 2024 online at sofworld.org.

Students can register for all the olympiads in a year as per eligibility. There are exams like SOF NCO, SOF NSO, SOF IMO, SOF IEO, SOF ICO, SOF IGKO, etc. Students can apply for any exam.

Yes, NSO exam is conducted in only English. Students cannot appear for NSO exam in any other language.

Students have to understand NSO syllabus 2025 and prepare accordingly. They should also learn from workbooks provided by NSO. Solving NSO workbooks will help students to know pattern of exam. It will also help them to improve their speed of solving problems.

Participants in Olympiads are ranked on the basis of marks obtained. After taking the first level of the test, students can judge themselves academically at four different levels - within the school, at the city level, at the zonal level and above all at the International level. A Student Performance Report (SPR) is provided to each student which analyses the strong and weak areas of the student. Analysis of the student’s past 9 years’ performance is also provided. Students are also awarded based on their International, Zonal and School ranking. Prizes are announced annually including cash awards, medals, gifts, certificate

No, there is no negative marking in NSO exam. Students need not worry for negative marking.
