Symbiosis School of Economics BSc admissions are entirely entrance-based. Candidates seeking admission to the BSc programme must appear for Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) conducted by the institute followed by which, shortlisted candidates must appear for the Personal Interaction round.

Symbiosis School of Economics Personal Interview round takes place after the declaration of SET result in the month of May. According to the  last year dates released by the institute, the shortlist for Personal Interview is declared on May after which candidates can book the PI slot. Symbiosis School of Economics will conduct the PI in the online mode which is set to be scheduled in June.

Symbiosis School of Economics BSc class will commence once all the merit lists will be declared by the institute following the Personali Interview round. According to the admission dates released by SSE Pune for BSc, the first merit list will be announced soon. Once all the merit list will be announced the BSc programme classes.

Symbiosis School of Economics follows seat reservation policy while admitting the Indian nationality students to BSc programme. Given below is Symbiosis School of Economics seat reservation:

  • Scheduled Caste : 15% seats
  • Scheduled Tribe: 7.5% seats
  • Differently Abled : 3% seats
  • Kashmiri Migrants: 2 over and above the sanctioned seat intake

In case some seats remain vacant due to the non-availability of suitable candidates in the category of reservations, the seats will be converted to the general category seats and shortlisted students will be offered these seats.

Yes, students who are pursuing the BSc programme at Symbiosis School of Economics can avail a scholarship. Cybage Khushboo Charitable Trust and SSE Pune have signed an MOU, with an understanding to offer five scholarships or sponsorships to students pursuing the BSc Economics (Honours) programme. Symbiosis School of Economics BSc scholarships can be availed by students if they meet the minimum eligibility criteria set up by the institute in relation to financial background and qualifying examination marks.

The duration for BCom (Hons.) programme at BML Munjal University is four years divided into eight semesters. However, student can also exit the programme at the end of third  year with a BCom degree. The selection criteria for SAT,  CUET UG or ACT scores are also accepted for the B.Com (Hons.) programme + PI.

Students can check the general terms and conditions applicable to avail scholarship at School of Economics and Commerce, BML Munjal University:

  • All kind of waivers/scholarships are applicable on tuition fees only, except, where, in cases of Financial Aid, a grant for student housing may be explicitly approved by the authorised Committee.
