Symbiosis School of Economics Personal Interview round takes place after the declaration of SET result in the month of May. According to the last year dates released by the institute, the shortlist for Personal Interview is declared on May after which candidates can book the PI slot. Symbiosis School of Economics will conduct the PI in the online mode which is set to be scheduled in June.

Symbiosis School of Economics follows seat reservation policy while admitting the Indian nationality students to BSc programme. Given below is Symbiosis School of Economics seat reservation:
- Scheduled Caste : 15% seats
- Scheduled Tribe: 7.5% seats
- Differently Abled : 3% seats
- Kashmiri Migrants: 2 over and above the sanctioned seat intake
In case some seats remain vacant due to the non-availability of suitable candidates in the category of reservations, the seats will be converted to the general category seats and shortlisted students will be offered these seats.
