The exam is a gateway to undergraduate programmes offered at these institutes. No. SET stands for Symbiosis Entrance Test which is conducted for admission undergraduate programmes other the BTech at Symbiosis International Deemed University. SITEEE stands for Symbiosis Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Exam which is held for B.Tech admissions.

Most of the questions are same, only the order is changed. For example if in one set, one question was numbered 7, then in another set the same question can be number 21 and vice versa. However, 2 or 3 questions may be unique too, and then there may be a few same questions, which are asked in a twisted way. For example, one question in one set, and then there will be another question in another set which will be altered or twisted abit, but the question remains the same, and so does the answer.

The admission process for SoET is entrance based for the courses. Candidates are required to appear in the entrance exams such as CUET and NSAT. Candidates who wish to get a seat in the programmes offered by NIU SoET are required to fill out the application form seperately for the entrance exams and clear the cutoff that is set by the university. 

With an OPT, international students can get only 12 months of employment. Those who wish to work for a longer duration will need an H1-B visa.
