The institute offers more than 33 seats in MTech. It is divided in different specialisations. Number of seats are different in each course. Seat allocation is done on the basis of entrance scores. It is advised to appear for the scholarship exam conducted by university. The university may reserve 25% of total seats for state domicile students.

The university may follow a seat reservation. Total 25% seats are reserved for Uttarakhand domicile students. However, whether the reservation applies for UG or PG courses is not officially mentioned by university. Seat allotment is done by university on the basis of GATE scores.

Yes, the university is one of the top private institutions for Engineering in Uttarakhand. It has been ranked by various ranking bodies. Some of ranking bodies are IMRB International, Times Engineering, India Today, etc. As per India Today 2024 report, the university secured a position of #85 in engineering category.

The selection is completely based on GATE exam score. Candidates have to fill an application form on official university website. Moreover, they can also appear for an online Q-CARE exam. It is a scholarship exam conducted by university. After result announcements, the university allots seats in different courses as per student's preference. Selected students receive a PLA. Students have to pay first semester fee and submit documents within 15 days of receiving PLA.

The admission process generally starts after GATE results are out. The GATE results are generally announced in March. All applicants have to register on official university website. The university allocates seats on the basis of merit score in entrance exam. Moreover, students can also appear for Q-CARE exam for scholarship. It is conducted online by the university.

The GATE exam is conducted in the month of February. Registrations can be done on respective website. The application forms are generally out in last week of August. The application fee is INR 1,000 (female/SC/ST/PWD) and INR 2,000 (Male/General/OBC/EWS). Students have to register separately on university website as well for admission in MTech. The registration fee is INR 1,200.

Yes, you can pay the fee in installments. The fee for each academic year is divided in nine installments. However, an interest rate of 10% is applicable on EMIs. The university also offers education loan to financially weak students. Students can apply for loan via loan assistance cell in university.
