For becoming a computer engineer, you have to pursue B.Tech (CSE). And for getting admission into B.Tech first you have to crack Engineering entrance exams like- IIT-JEE, AIEEE, WBJEEE, VITEEE, KIITEE, MH-CET, etc.

Well, there is not any affordable college you will get there as studying and cost of living is very high. You will get a good scholarship if you score very well in SAT.

There are various kind of jobs that depends company to company. If you choose service based company, then you will be working on networking and related stuffs and if you choose product based companies, then you will be more focused on coding and programming and you will be termed as a software engineer. Both options pf PCB and PCM are equally good. Few schools allow students to choose PCMB subjects. If you want to keep your options of selection between medical and engineering till completion of 10+2, you may opt for PCMB. Following are career options for PCBM students after 12th class:
