SET exam is held in about 80 test cities across the country. An applicant can select up to three test cities during the SET application process. They should choose the test city carefully as the request to change the test city later may or may not be accepted due to non-availability of seats at the centres in that particular city. Given below are the cities where SET exam is usually held.
Agra, Kanpur, Ahmedabad, Karnal, Ahmednagar, Kochi, Ernakulam, Ajmer, Aligarh, Kolhapur, Allahabad, Ambala, Amritsar, Amravati, Kota, Kolkata, Kottayam, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Asansol, Aurangabad, Bareilly, Bengaluru, Bhilai, Bhopal, Bhubanesh

Candidates must report to the SET exam centre at least an hour before the commencement of the exam. The SET exam will take place at 9 AM at various test centres, hence, candidates must reach the exam centre the latest by 07:30 AM. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam centre before 10:00 AM (morning session). Also, they can not re-enter the exam centre once they have submitted the exam.
