SUNET syllabus is very important for preparation. Knowing syllabus will help candidates understand syllabus and topics that have to be studied for exam. Candidates can also plan their study timetable if they are familiar with SUNET syllabus. While preparing timetable, candidates have to complete  syllabus before exam so that they have enough time for revision.

Yes. SUNET will be held as an online test i.e., computer-based test. No other mode of exam will be held by the authorities. Candidates will have to visit their allotted exam centres to attempt the examination. SUNET question paper will consist of objective multiple-choice questions. More details about how the examination will be held can be checked from the official SUNET exam pattern.

During SUNET counselling, registered candidates will be allotted seats into offered BTech courses. Allotment of seats will be done based on candidate's obtained rank and preferences. SUNET seat allotment result will be announced online. All allotted candidates will have to confirm their admission by paying required fee and verifying their documents.

SUNET counselling will be held online. To participate in counselling, candidates will have to register and provide required details. After registration, candidates will have to pay counselling fee and fill their choice of courses in order of preference. SUNET seat allotment result will be released. Allotment of seats will be according to candidate's rank and preferences.

Candidates will be able to check their obtained scores through the SUNET result. Along with the obtained scores, the candidates will also be able to check their qualifying status. No other mode will be used by the authorities to release the SUNET scores. Candidates will have to log in using the required credentials to access the result of SUNET.

The authorities will release the SUNET result online. To check SUNET result, candidates will have to log in with their application form number and password. The authorities will not use any other mode to declare the result of SUNET.

While reporting at SUNET exam centre, candidates will have to present their admit card and valid identity proof. Without these documents, candidates will not be allowed to attempt entrance examination. Some of identity proofs that will be accepted by authorities at centre are Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Passport/PAN Card/Driving License/Any Govt. approved photo identity proof.

Before downloading SUNET admit card, candidates should carefully check details present in the document. If any mistake is found, then candidates should immediately contact authorities. Mistakes should be rectified before examination so that candidates do not face any problems at centre. However, candidates will not be allowed to request for change of allotted centres.

SUNET marking scheme is released online. For every correct answer, 4 marks will be given. However, 1 mark will be cut for every incorrect answer. Since there is negative marking, candidates should be careful while attempting questions.

SUNET question paper will consist of 100 objective multiple-choice questions. The Physics and Chemistry section will consist of 30 questions each. Meanwhile, the candidates will have to attempt 40 questions from the Mathematics section. No extra questions will be provided. The candidates will have to complete the entrance exam within 3 hours. The authorities will not give extra time to complete the examination.
