SGSITS BTech admissions are facilitated via DTE MP Counselling. As per the latest updates, round 2 for DTE MP Counselling is still ongoing. The round 2 merit list was released on 17 Jul, 2025. The upcoming events related to the counselling are as follows:
- Round 2 Reporting: Until 25 Jul, 2025
- Round 2 Branch upgrades within institute: 27 Jul, 2025 - 31 Jul, 2025

The SGSITS BTech admission process begins with an eligibility check. All students interested in applying are advised to ensure that they fulfil the eligibility requirements set by the institute. As per the criteria, students who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics as subjects are eligible to apply.

SGSITS offers BTech and BTech Integrated courses based on JEE Main scores. Candidates having valid JEE Main ranks will be allowed to take part in JoSAA counselling rounds. Considering the SGSITS JEE Main cutoff 2025 for the Round 4 seat allotment results, the BTech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at SGSITS consistently has the lowest cutoff among all branches. In the JEE Main 2025 Round 4 seat allotment results, the closing rank for the General AI category stood between 24908 and 69196.
