Although obtaining a seat in SGSITS Indore for B.Tech admission requires a minimum score of 60% in Class 12, it is unlikely due to the high cut-offs and dependence on JEE Main results. Competitive branches are difficult to pass with 60% because they demand scores in the 200+ to 300+ range. Although reservations or lateral entrance with an appropriate Diploma may offer alternative avenues for admission, fierce competition further diminishes prospects. Overall, it is still challenging to get admitted to SGSITS Indore's B.Tech programs with a 60% class 12 grade even after completing the basic eligibility requirements.

Depending on personal preferences and standards, the "best" college may or may not be SGSITS Indore. It provides various B.Tech and B.Pharm programs with top-notch faculty and facilities, although other universities such as IET-DAVV and MIT are equally good academically. SGSITS has a good national ranking, however prices and placement rates need to be evaluated against those of other universities. For a thorough assessment, other aspects such as the campus environment and Indore location should be considered.
