Nanded's Shri Guru Gobind Singhji Institute of Engineering and Technology (SGGSIET) is often classified as a Tier-2 engineering college for the most part. It has nice academic facilities and can boast a good number of placements, with the top companies visiting the campus and with some graduates attaining packages of INR 8 LPA and more, however, it cannot be compared to Tier-1 institutes in terms of national visibility. The institute has good infrastructure and teachers, which helps the position held by the institute in the regional educational hierarchy.
