Shyam Lal College, Delhi accepts Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores for admission to undergraduate courses. The CUET is a nationwide entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The college has been accepting CUET UG scores since 2022 and CUET PG scores since 2023.

Shayam Lal College is famous for its courses in undergraduation and Masters courses. It is also famous for it fest culture. The highest package offered was INR 7-8 Lakhs.
