Sinhgad's merit is slightly higher than DY Patil. However, both the Sinhgad Vadgaon and DY Patil Akurdi campuses are considered good.
According to Shiksha, the MBA course at SIOM - Sinhgad Institute of Management is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 56 students, while the same course at DY Patil Institute of Management is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 2 students.
DY Patil's online MBA programme is recognised and accredited by the NAAC (A+), NIRF (top 50 universities), UGC-DEB, and AICTE. In 2023, Dr. D. Y. Patil B-School, Pune was ranked 15th out of 120 in India for its MBA program.
