The Symbiosis International University mentions the names of Broad topics in the SLAT syllabus. The candidates consider the General Knowledge section as the most difficult. Prepare for this section accordingly and use the best books available to get a good percentile in this section of SLAT exam.

The Symbiosis Law Admission Test will be conducted online. There is no sectional time limit in SLAT 2027. The exam will be conducted in December 2026. Candidates will be free to attempt any section anytime without any worry about the time limit.

The difficulty level of the SLAT and CLAT exams varies depending on various factors such as exam pattern, exam difficulty level, and the number of candidates who appear for the exam. The following observations have been noted:
- The English section of CLAT is more difficult.
- The GK section of SLAT is easier than CLAT.
- CLAT is definitely tougher than SLAT in terms of competition

The candidates should note that there is no negative marking in the SLAT exam. The SIU does not mention it in its official information bulletin. The Symbiosis Law Admission Test will be conducted in December 2026.

The expected SLAT 2026 cutoff for top Symbiosis Law School campuses is around 45–52 marks out of 60 for SLS Pune and about 42–48 marks for SLS Noida. For other campuses, like SLS Hyderabad (38–44) and SLS Nagpur (35–41).
