Last year, we had combined general and E&I batch, so the overall average was around Rs 7 lakhs per annum and highest went upto Rs 17 lakhs per annum.But again it depends on market condition.

Go for PDPU. Forget about Balaji. SPM's average package is more than Balaji. Also, college has better ranking than Balaji.

With respect to the salary package, it's ambiguous and subjective. I believe if you have passion for energy sector then PDPU is a better choice.
