School of Management, PDEU selects candidates for PhD programme based on Written Aptitude Test conducted by the school. WAT shall consist of 50% weightage on research methodology and 50% weightage on subject specific questions. Aspirants with 50% or more in WAT are further required to appear for personal interview or viva-voce. 70% weightage is given to entrance test and 30% to performance of the aspirants in the personal interview round for admission.

MBA is the flagship programme of School of Management, PDEU. Students pursuing MBA are open to campus placements. In the recent placement drive, a the highest package of INR 14.71 LPA was offered to students. The average package stood at INR 8.91 LPA. Some of the top recruiters like Accenture, ICICI Bank, KPMG, Infosys, etc. participated in the placement drive.

School of Management, PDEU offers Merit-cum-Means Scholarship to MBA students. Selected students get a 50% waiver on the tuition fee. Aspirants should not have a family income of more than INR 10 Lacs in the previous financial year. Also, aspirants should have secured 85 percentile CAT/ XAT/ NMAT for selection.

Yes, School of Management, Pandit Deendayal Energy University offers scholarships to MBA students. Under the scholarship, students get 50% tuition fee waiver. A maximum of 10 Merit-cum-Means scholarship are available at School of Management as per the university scholarship policy.

School of Management, PDEU requires qualifying a minimum of graduation for PG and master's degree for PhD courses. Along with eligibility, aspirants must also fulfil the selection requirements. Below is course-wise eligibility for SoM:

The answer to this question depends on the course applied by the candidates. Those who wish to get admission in MBA or PhD course require qualifying an entrance exam. Aspirants need to have a valid score in CAT, XAT or NMAT for MBA whereas Written Aptitude Test is considered for admission to PhD programme. No entrance exam is required for admission to Executive MBA programme.

School of Petroleum Management, Pandit Deendayal Energy University does not offer direct admission to MBA and PhD courses. The school considers CAT, XAT or NMAT scores for admission to MBA programme. The selection to PhD course is based on a Written Aptitude Test conducted by the school. Aspirants can directly come for interview after submitting applications for Executive MBA for admission.

Admission to an MBA programme in the School of Management (SoM), Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) is moderately costly. The cost of the full 2 years MBA programme is approximately 104000/- INR which is broken up as tuition fees, examination fees and other incidental charges. The total expense to complete the course is approximately INR 8.4 Lacs besides, it costs INR 4.2 Lacs per annum. Also there is deposit which is 10000 INR one time and registration fee of 5000 INR one time. The costs per annum of the hostel are INR 80, 000-1.2 Lacs as per the type of a hostel that the stu-dents want to get themselves accommodated in.
