Part-time jobs while studying at South Texas College are accessible. The college allows students to work part-time for a maximum of 19 hours per week. There is no competitive admissions process at South Texas College. The sole prerequisites are a General Educational Development certificate, a high school diploma, or an attendance certificate.
The college does not require SAT or ACT scores for admission, although they later consider the scores for placements purposes.
