Yes, St. Xavier's University does provide sports-based scholarships. The university offers three sports scholarships, namely the Best Athlete Scholarship (Boys), the Best Athlete Scholarship (Girls), and the Meritorious Sportsperson. Under all the scholarships, selected students are granted a full waiver of tuition fees & development fees. One student under each category who wins the Best Athlete in the Annual Sports Meet is awarded the scholarship.

CSU sponsors 16 NCAA Division I varsity programs in the Mountain West Conference. Also, there are a number of sport clubs at the university. These sports clubs are student-managed teams that train together, travel, and compete on a national level. A few of the sport clubs are Climbing, Golf, Hockey, Tennis, Rugby, Lacrosse, etc. Also, students can take part in intramural sports as they are a great way to engage in the CSU community throughout the entire year.

Yes, Sri Univerity offers seat reservations for sports to BA students. The eligibility criteria to get the reservation is those who have represented the state during the last three years at national level sports shall get 10% weightage of marks over and above the aggregate career marks.

The criteria for apply for the M.Sc. in Exercise Physiology and Sports Nutrition in Saveetha University is that the candidates should have passed the Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject with not less than 55% of mark.

Since, your BE in Mechanical Engineering does not fall under the categories of medical, non medical, home science, physical education and /or sports science the status may be unclear.

If you wish to check whether your qualifications will allow you to enter Saveetha University or not, it will be best to consult with the University directly, with the admission office.
