For admission to the MSc course, Sri University conducts its in-house entrance exam, i.e., SSU CET. This exam is conducted by the university itself for the selection of candidates in UG and PG courses. Apart from this, the university might accept a few national-based/state-based entrance exams for admission to some of the offered MSc specialisations at Sri University.

Yes, Sri University offer scholarships to meritorious and financially-weak students. Below are some merit-based scholarships available to SSU students:

Scholarship NameDetails
The Tata Capital Pankh ScholarshipStudents who is a permanent citizen of India with a minimum of 60%
marks in the final examination and whose family income is less than
INR 4 Lacs per year
Krishna Merit Scholarships

The scholarship will be reimbursed only if

(a) there is no backlog of paper (s)

(b) Attendance is not less than 80%.Annual income of the family of the student should not be more than INR 6 lakh. The scholarships will be awarded on merit cum means basis

Yes, after completing the MSc courses from Sri University, candidates can get several government job opportunities according to their studied specialisation. However, to get these job profiles candidates are required to qualify for the concerned entrance examination, such as IBPS, PO, AFCAT, CTET, TET, UPSS, State PSC, etc.

Yes, Sri Univerity offers seat reservations for sports to MSc students. The eligibility criteria to get the reservation is those who have represented the state during the last three years at national level sports shall get 10% weightage of marks over and above the aggregate career marks.

Thirteen of the fourteen specialisations that Sri University offers in its MSc programme have ten seats each. There are  20 seats available only for the Master of Science in Environmental Sciences and Policy (MESP) specialisation. Furthermore, there are 15 seats available for the MSc integrated Osteopathy course.
