The College of Engineering and Technology of SSBT has qualified faculty members as majorities of them possess Master's degree and years of teaching experience. Thus, about 70 percent of the faculty has a Master or Doctorate degree in their specialised areas of training. Each branch of SSBT's College of Engineering and Technology has its separate cutoff list for MHT CET. Imminent branches including Computer Science and Electronics the minimum percentile is usually between 70 and 80. However, Mechanical and Civil Engineering cutoffs are slightly lower, mostly falling around 60-70 percentile. Cutoffs in reserved category are lower generally by about 40-50 percentile. These cutoffs may be determined based on the number of students who apply or maybe different in a given year.
