Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (10+2) examination or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 65% (60% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate in any stream (Arts, Commerce, or Science). Age Limit: There is no age limit for admission to the B.Com programme at St. Xavier's College, Mumbai. English Proficiency: Candidates must have a good command of the English language. Admission Test: Candidates must appear for an admission test conducted by the college.

St. Xavier's College, Mumbai is one of the best college to pursue economics. It only provides B.A in economics. Full as well as part majors in economics and statistics.
The criteria for admission is nothing expect the merit list. The percentage cut off for B.A economics ranges from 98%-96% for general non Christian students.
