During SUAT counselling, candidates will be allotted as per their merit rank, preferences and performance in personal interview. Candidates should be careful while submitting their order of preference for BTech courses. A personal interview will also be conducted to know the candidate's aptitude. Performance of candidates in interview will also be considered for SUAT seat allotment.

For SUAT counselling and admission, candidates will have to meet minimum qualifying marks. The official minimum qualifying marks for SUAT is 35%. All candidates have to score atleast 35% marks in entrance examination to register for counselling.

Before downloading SUAT result, candidates should check it for any mistakes. If found, they should contact authorities. Marks and ranks obtained in exam cannot be changed.

No. Candidates are advised to download and take a print out of the SUAT admit card to the centre. The authorities will not accept soft copies of the admit card or identity proof. Since there are higher chances that no provision to print out the SUAT admit card will be present at the exam centre, the candidates will have to carry the print outs. Without the required documents, the candidates will not be allowed to attempt the exam.

Candidates should carefully check list of cities before filling SUAT application form. Through exam cities, candidates will be able to make their choice quickly while filling application form.

The authorities will not accept requests to change allotted SUAT exam centre. Candidates should be careful while submitting their preferred slots for SUAT. If the candidates did not complete the slot booking process, then they will be automatically allotted slots as per the availability.

Candidates have to complete the slot booking to download the SUAT admit card. The authorities will make SUAT admit card available for download after slots are chosen and booked. Details about the booked SUAT slots will be released through admit card. If candidates do not book the slots, then authorities will randomly assign slots as per the availability.
