But it depends on you what your qualifications are etc. The average CTC for the last few years has been around 12 lacs.Its role in managing natural disasters, environmental conservation, and sustainable development cannot be overstated. The academic fees structure for M.Tech in Geoinformatics is divided in 4 installments of 1,32,500/- each.There is a refundable Institute deposit of 20,000/- and a refundable Hostel deposit of 15,000/-.Hostel fees is 1,01,500/- per annum and Mess fees  is 86,000/- per annum.

Candidate applying for M.Tech in SIG should be an Engineering graduate (BE/B.Tech) or M.Sc.in (Geoinformatics, Physics, Geology, Environmental Science, Mathematics, Agriculture)with a minimum if 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).Candidates appearing in final year examination can appear but admission depends on qualifying score which should be minimum 50%.Foreign University candidates can apply if they have an equivalent certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

Courses offered by Symbiosis Institute of Geoinformatics are not expensive .In general the fee structure varies from 6lac -8lac for all private universities ( Amrita School of Engineering / Bharathidasan University)offering similar courses.The difference in fee structures is not remarkable when compared with the ranking and placements of SIU
