The course curriculum is curated in a way that it equips students with both theory and practical knowledge of the core topics. There are skill enhancement courses included in the syllabus as well. In the final year, the students have to complete and submit a research project as well. While registering for a BSc course in SIU Pune, students have to pay exam registration fee and programme registration fee. Symbiosis Entrance Test registration fee is INR 2,250 per test. In addition, the course registration fee amount is INR 1,000 for each course. It must be noted that the registration fee amount is non-refundable and non-transferable. The mentioned fees is as per the 2024-25 UG brochure. Hence, is indicative.

The Symbiosis International (Deemed University) select students for BSc course admission based on performance in the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). Aspirants who meet the eligibility criteria can apply. As defined on the official website, admission seekers who are Class 12 pass with 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST) are eligible for admission. After selection, admission offers are sent out to the eligible candidates. The seats can further be confirmed on payment of the admission fee amount as precribed by SIU Pune.

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) admission for BSc courses begins with the release of registration forms for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). Candidates must apply on or before the prescribed deadline. Moreover, the SET Test 01 was conducted on May 5 and SET Test 02 on May 11.

The UG-level programme (BSc and BSc Hons) is offered across different specialisations and through institutes/school of the deemed university. SIU Pune fees varies for each of the offered BSc course specialisation. The admission is granted based on Symbiosis Entrance Test scores only. Mentioned below are some of the BSc courses offered by the deemed university:

  • BSc (Hons) in Medical Technology
  • BSc in Culinary Arts
  • BSc (Hons) in Economics

There are multiple components included in the SIU Pune fee structure. Some of these are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually or semester-wise. The total tuition fee for BSc courses at SIU ranges from INR 1.5 Lacs to INR 16.3 lakh. It is inclusive of the course tuition fee offered by different schools of the deemed university. This fee range is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

The minimum qualification required for a candidate to be eligible for the course admission is Class 12 pass from a recognised board. In addition, it should have been passed with at least 50% aggregate. Additionally, the required minimum aggregate for the SC/ST category candidates is 45%. The applicants must have the pass certificate/mark sheet with them. These documents (original/copies) have to be submitted to the deemed university for verification purposes.

No, the deemed university does not offer direct admission to its courses. The aspirants have to take the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) and secure a valid score. This entrance exam is conducted for admission to certain UG courses. Candidates shortlisted based on this exam scores are called for the interview round. Apart from this, the course aspirant must also fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements.
