Last year, TANCET MBA cut-off for Anna University is 58.333% for BC category. So, you have chances to get into AU, but it purely depends on this year students' cut-off range and their preference towards colleges. Your rank will be in the range of 80 to 130 (according to my guess). .

TANCET Cut off is the minimum marks required to get shortlisted for admission to various colleges in Tamil Nadu. TANCET Results (to be declared in the second week of April) form the basis for selection. Candidates who obtain more than the cutoff marks, as per the rank list, are given preference and called for TANCET Counselling. The expected cut off for TANCET 2018 on the basis of previous year cutoff trends for MBA, MCA and ME/M.Tech courses for SC category is around 25.5. The cutoff depends on the college, please specify the college name.

Hello Subashree,
I am sorry to say the chance is very o get admission in PSGIM with 40.66 under OC Quota, because 58 is the last years the lowest cut off under OC Quota to get admission in PSGIM. I suggest you to have a sincere preparation for a year and attempt next year and aim for admission in to top B-schools in the country.

As such, I don't think it will cause any problem. But if you can, I would suggest sending it separately stating it to be in the continuation of counselling application.

Hello Vallabi,
There are good possibilities to get admission in PSGIM with 57.667 under BC Quota, because 56 is the last years lowest cut off under BC Quota to get admission in PSGIM. Still, it depends on student's choices on MBA institutions this year. All the best.

Hello JohnDino,
49 is a good TANCET Score. But, on comparing this score with last year's cut off, it is tough to get PSGIM in counselling, because 56 is the lowest cut off in BC, to get admission in PSGIM Last year. All the best.
