TDV Entrance Exam

Yes, candidates are recommended to submit their design portfolios at the time of the TDV interview. Portfolio must include the best works and must include a wide variety of works. 

Yes, the Design Village is conducting mock tests for the TDV 2026 entrance exam. The mock test is available on the TDV admission portal. The mock test is free. Note that the mocks tests are conducted close to the exam.

The purpose of the mock tests is to give the candidate a first-hand experience of the exam-day atmospher, and how to answer questions, types of questions asked, etc. 

TDV 2026 entrance exam will include

1. Correlative Quiz
2. Comprehensive Questions
3. Questions for taking positions
4. Creating Thumbnails.
5. Situation Test

Admission to the design courses offered by the Design Village will be based on the merit rank of the candidate in the TDV 2024 entrance exam. The candidate must appear in all the stages of the admission process. This includes counseling, which will be conducted soon after the declaration of exam results.

The Design Village will conduct the Students Entrance exam after the application process is over. Candidates who fill out the application form could appear in the exam. Candidates who meet the prescribed eligibility criteria need to duly fill out the form and pay the application fee.

The more sample papers one solves, the better poised one will be to do well in the TDV 2026 entrance exam. The candidate can solve sample papers very early on in their exam preparation. For instance after completing a chapter, solve all related questions related to that topic.

Candidates should solve the TDV sample paper when the application opens. 

There is no set formula for solving a sample paper for the TDV entrance exam. It is recommended that the candidate make sample papers a part of preparation early in preparation stage.

One must try to solve as many sample papers as possible.
