Nursing faculty posts require an M.Sc Nursing degree recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and West Bengal Nursing Council (WBNC). However, with MHA you may qualify for teaching roles in hospital administration, health management, or allied health programs, but not core nursing subjects.

For most professional and degree‑level courses (like B.Sc, B.Tech, Allied Health, Forensic Science, Biotechnology, etc.) you cannot take admission directly after Class 10. The minimum eligibility is completion of Class 12 (10+2) with required subjects (Science/Commerce/Arts depending on the course).

After Class 10 – What You Can Do

  • You can apply for PUC/Intermediate/Junior College (Class 11–12) in Science, Commerce, or Arts streams.
  • Some diploma programs (Polytechnic, Nursing, Paramedical, Hotel Management) allow admission after Class 10.
  • Degree courses like B.Sc, B.Com, BA, B.Tech require 10+2 completion.
