TIIFS is generally recognised as a good choice for design students seeking practical, industry-oriented programs, especially if you're looking for specialised diplomas or vocational courses in fashion styling and interior design. However, it may not have the same national recognition or extensive resources as larger institutions like NIFT, which consistently ranks among the top design schools in India.

TIIFS usually adopts a no-refund policy after processing for admission, though it does refund in exceptional circumstances submitted within short intervals after the processing, likely less than 7 days after having paid the fees or even before completing the admission process. Refunds that might be granted will also often be net-adjusted to eliminate non-refundable fees, like the registration and processing fees. All admission fees are non-refundable after processing for admission has been completed. Refunds are sometimes allowed only in exceptional circumstances.
