Techno Main Salt Lake is AICTE and NBA approved. According to some sources it is a tier 1 college but some says that it is better than tier 1 colleges that means it is tier 0 college.
Techno Main Salt Lake has a review rating of 3.9 based on student reviews. It has also been rated 4 on campus life, 3.9 on placements, 4 on faculty, and 3.9 on infrastructure. Some say Techno Main Salt Lake is a top engineering college in West Bengal and a top private university in India. Techno Main Salt Lake is AICTE and NBA approved. It has a 7.3/10 placement rating. Big MNC's came as recruiters college to hire students, including Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, L&T Infotech, TCS, IBM and CTS. Some students have also got jobs at Capgemini, Zola Software Solutions, and others. Also they have internship opportunities.

According to some sources Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) is better than Techno Main Salt Lake in respect to studies and placements. IEM has better faculty and they have better industry-connections and they gave better internship opportunities.
But according to some other sources Techno Main Salt Lake and IEM both the colleges have same placement results and average salaries. In both college as a student you will get decent placement opportunities and exposure. Average salary of both is 3.5-4 lakh. Reputed MNC's L&T Infotech, TCS, Wipro, IBM, Deloitte, Infosys are the recruiters for both the colleges.

Techno Main Salt Lake is one of the best private engineering college of West Bengal. It's placement cell is full of well-experienced teachers who have industry connections. It is NBA and AICTE approved.

Techno Main Salt Lake is approved by AICTE and accredited by NBA. The college offers an array of UG and PG courses under different departments. Admission norms and criteria according to the guidelines of MAKAUT. Admission to B.Tech will be based on the marks secured in either JEE Mains or WBJEE. The institute also invites application for admission to MBA and MCA course.

The last date to submit the application form for Techno Main Salt Lake Kolkata UG admission, through TNJEE, is in April. For MAT CBT July, the last date to register is in July. The GATE CCMT 2025 Round 3 seat allotment results for admission to MTech, MArch, and MPlan courses will be declared in June.

Techno Main Salt Lake in Kolkata offers direct admission to B.Tech courses based on marks obtained in 10+2 and WBJEE/JEE (Mains). The college uses a single window counseling process at the campus. When the cut off is released by the college eligible students can apply online for their desired course and stream. The college will also provide a 5% free scholarship to the students.
