Yes, absolutely. Once you do MBA or PGDM in telecom management, your transactions degree will not have any relevance. If you are looking your career forward in pure mechanical field, then don't do it.

It completely depends on your interest. HR and Telecom are poles apart. As you are from electronics background, going for Telecom. MBA makes more sense. If you choose telecom management from a good institute like SITM, Pune you'll be placed in managerial roles rather than core technical roles. If you want to change your path completely then go for HR from a good institute like SCMHRD, Pune.

Definitely, the course at SITM is tailormade for students from electronics background. I too am an ECE graduate and felt very easy to adapt to the MBA course at SITM. Here, you'll not only learn technology related subjects, but the managerial and practical aspects of those subjects.

Consider all the parameters like ROi, total living expenses etc. You would find better placements in We-School Mumbai and Bangalore both.
