In Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences BA course, your semester fee includes several student service charges. Besides the tuition fee of INR 1,93,500, you pay for development and student activities. There are also smaller charges for exams and medical services each semester. For example, the exam fee is INR 1,500 and the medical fee is INR 1,000 per term.

For Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences BA course, seat allocation happens at the end of the first year. Since all students start with the same foundation, you don't pick your major on day one. You apply for your preferred major after the second semester. The school tries to give students their top choices based on their performance.

Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences,  commonly known as TSLAS is located in Patiala, Punjab. The institute is ranked 26 under "Science" category & 44 under "Business & Management Studies" by NIRF in 2025. The institute offers UG, PG & PhD level courses. At UG level courses like BA, BBA, BCom & BSc are offered. MA & MSc are offered at the PG level. A number of scholarships are offered to the students based on merit. Students getting 98% and above in Class 12 gets 100% Full Fee Scholarship. Overall it is a good institute.
