SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) is conducted thrice a year. SRM IST Trichy (Deemed-To-Be-University) admission is both merit and entrance-based. SRM IST shortlists candidates based on merit in the last qualifying exam. For BTech, the university conducts SRMJEE. SRM also accepts national-level entrance exams such as JEE Main/ SAT for admission to BTech courses. After completion of the selection rounds, selected candidates can confirm their admission by paying the course fee.
